Agency is the ability to act as an effective agent for yourself — getting your mind, body, and emotions in balance to think clearly, advocate for yourself, and make choices that create good things in your life.

At this event, Dr. Rao will discuss his just-released book, co-authored with Paul Napper, Psy.D., The Power of Agency, written based on years of research and real-world application. Dr. Rao will guide you to develop your “inner agent,” to fully become the author of your life and to:

• Problem solve and make good decisions

• Find your voice

• Be in control under stress

• Take on challenges with greater confidence at home and at work

• Follow your own path, and not the herd

Dr. Rao will provide seven principles to conquer obstacles, make effective decisions, and create a life on your own terms. Prior to the event, registrants will have access to an exclusive online Agency Practices Inventory, a brief assessment that will provide feedback on the seven principles of agency that people use to be more focused, make better decisions, and achieve their goals.

Copies of The Power of Agency book will be for sale before and after the presentation. A book signing will follow the speaking program.
